ABOUT LAUNCHING SCHOLARS
The Launching Scholars initiative was created in 2022 by LaunchTech and its President & CEO, Venus Quates. This initiative is dedicated to creating access and opportunities for girls ages 12-18 interested in Technology, Aviation, and Space.

Our mission is to equip and empower girls to soar in STEM fields. Through this initiative, we aim to support the future of the STEM workforce by fostering curiosity, community, confidence, and capability in the next generation of innovators.

Each year, Launching Scholars provides scholarships that enable girls to attend immersive, career-exploration STEM programs across the country. Our flagship scholarship offers an incredible opportunity to gain hands-on experience in space, aviation, and cyber camps at Space Camp in Huntsville, Alabama.
Beyond learning and exposure, Launching Scholars instills camaraderie, a sense of belonging, and the opportunity to build lifelong friendships. Our initiative is more than just a scholarship—it provides a transformative experience that empowers girls to see themselves as future leaders, creators, and pioneers.
